When BVNH visited Bali in 1996, he met a gentleman who was very close to Governor Oka and wanted to mint a coin to honor his friend. Upon BVNH’s return to Hawaii, the gentleman commissioned the Mint to produce ten silver 39mm Governor Oka Commemoratives. Neither the dies nor the commemoratives were paid for.
